TriMark Digital Exceeds Year-Long Diaper Drive Goal

Back to Newsroom

TriMark Digital is thrilled to announce that it has successfully exceeded its goal to raise 70,000 diapers for its year-long “Do your Dootie: Cover that Bootie” Raleigh Diaper Drive, finishing the year with strong with 70,378 diapers in total.

In 2013, after learning that one in every three mothers struggle to provide diapers for their young children, often sacrificing buying groceries, it became evident that Saint Saviour’s Diaper Train would be an ideal partner organization for TriMark Digital. The Diaper Train provides diapers to low-income families in Wake County and improves the lives of babies and toddlers. The program is run by volunteers and serves over 800 children each month.

2015 makes for TriMark Digital’s third year of raising diapers for local families. The team is grateful for this year’s sponsors, Pupsi Inc., Monkey Joe’s, Sam’s Club, Hicks Landscape Contractors Inc. and All About Beer Magazine.

“We are overwhelmed by the support of our community and its passion in helping us give back,” said Randy Goins, President of TriMark Digital. “This charity is close to our hearts because it directly affects children. We know how expensive diapers are, and babies born into low-income families may spend a day or longer in the same diaper. Many aren’t aware, but diapers are not an expense covered by food stamps/government vouchers.”

For those who would still like to donate online or drop off unused diapers, pull-ups and wipes at the TriMark Digital office, contact dootie@trimarkdigital.com. All charitable contributions are tax deductible.

About Saint Saviour’s Diaper Train
Started in 2010, The Diaper Train is a program of Saint Saviour’s Center and a Community Partner with National Diaper Bank Network. It depends on community groups, churches, schools and businesses to collect diapers through diaper drives. The Diaper Train then distributes the diapers to local non-profit organizations that serve families in crisis or transition. To learn more, visit www.diapertrain.org.
