    Associate Director of Organic Social Media

We’re looking for an Associate Director of Organic Social who lives and breathes social media, has a passion for consumer behavior and is comfortable leading a team of social strategists to create an unmatched social media program. In this role, you will help strengthen and scale our organic social media team, delivering robust social programs that build loyalty and inspire buying decisions. This is a highly collaborative role that will work cross-functionality with various teams and department leads to ensure content meets the unique needs of each social platform—and drives action. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Elevate and scale agency’s social media program, leading team of social specialists and community managers to drive innovative, connected, real-time organic social strategies
  • Work closely with Director of Paid Social and Director of Community Management to fully integrate organic, community and paid efforts for a holistic social media marketing execution 
  • Drive organic social strategy across all social platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, Pinterest and more
  • Lead social media specialists in creation of goal-driven social campaigns, integrating efforts into larger full-service marketing plans 
  • Deeply understand new social media (i.e. TikTok) and demonstrate experience in rapid content production for these platforms 
  • Establish and implement new processes to facilitate collaboration across departments (content, creative, paid, photo, video) to drive a cohesive social strategy, overseeing content production processes and more
  • Help internal teams and client teams understand how social media integrates with other strategies
  • Create and implement efficient processes for managing social content (review and approvals, internal content calendars, etc) 
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to track the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for optimization
  • Assist with development of content creator/influencer marketing programs that align with client campaign goals 
  • Uphold agency’s standards of strategic and creative excellence, ensuring world-class social delivery and prompt response times
  • Lead internal education and trainings of social media marketing, ensuring client strategists stay in-the-know of social trends and how social media fits into a holistic marketing strategy 
  • Participate in new business development, including pitches and proposals, to expand and scale social program 

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS/BA in Marketing or related field
  • 6+ years of experience, agency experience preferred
  • Experience marketing in all social media platforms, with a proven track record of driving engagement and growth
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms and trends
  • Proficiency in social media management tools, analytics platforms and content creation software
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform strategy and decision-making
  • Experience leading a team, managing employees and driving productivity 
  • Advocate for creative problem-solving
  • Sense of urgency with simultaneous attention to detail
